Brooklands opened in 1907 as the world’s first purpose-built motor racing circuit, a banked concrete bowl where drivers and later aviators spent the following decades breaking speed and altitude records that made headlines across Europe. Four years later and barely two miles away, a very different kind of speed was being built: St George’s Hill, laid out from 1911 as a private estate with its own golf course, gates and roads, designed to get London money as far from London itself as a comfortable train timetable would allow. Both projects were genuinely the first of their kind, both opened within the same few years, and Weybridge has quietly hosted both versions of that era’s obsession with going fast and getting far ever since. A chauffeur service Weybridge relies on today works across both legacies, the motorsport museum and the private estate that still guards its own gates.
From the Mercedes S-Class for everyday journeys to the Rolls-Royce Phantom for special occasions. Full pricing for every vehicle is below.
St George’s Hill remains a genuinely private, gated estate, with its own roads and its own access protocols separate from the rest of Weybridge. A booking here needs to be handled correctly from the first call, not worked out at the gatehouse.
Weybridge holds a genuine concentration of private wealth alongside its motorsport heritage, all within a compact area on the Surrey side of the M25. Our Chauffeur Service Weybridge treat each part of KT13 on its own terms, from the town centre to the gated estates, part of the wider coverage detailed on our Surrey chauffeur page.

Hugh Locke King built Brooklands’ banked concrete circuit specifically because no venue existed anywhere for testing how fast a motor car could genuinely go, and once the track opened, both racing drivers and aviation pioneers used it to set records that had simply never been attempted before. Aircraft manufacturers including Vickers and Sopwith later established works on the site, making Brooklands a genuine cradle of British aviation as well as motorsport. Current visiting information is published directly by Brooklands Museum.
St George’s Hill took a different approach to the same era’s appetite for speed. Developer W.G. Tarrant laid it out from 1911 with its own golf course and private roads, designed explicitly to give London’s wealthier commuters somewhere genuinely private to live while remaining within reach of the city. The estate has kept that character for well over a century, still governed by its own residents’ association rather than the local council, and still counted among the most exclusive private addresses in the country.

We confirm access details directly with the resident or their household in advance, and brief drivers on the estate’s own protocols before the day of travel.
For clients based on the estate, we can arrange a standing account with pre-approved driver details, removing the need to reconfirm access arrangements for every journey. The same discretion extends to comparable private estates and gated developments elsewhere in Surrey.
